Common questions

Do I need to install any software?

No. The screen opens device.plugscreen.com in its browser, and you manage everything from the dashboard — on a computer or your phone.

Which devices does it work on?

Anything with a modern browser that can run full screen: a smart TV, an Android TV box, a mini PC or a tablet.

How do I pair a screen?

The screen shows a 6-digit code and a QR code. Type the code in the dashboard or scan the QR with your phone, and you are done. For security, the code expires after one minute and refreshes on its own.

Where do apps get their data?

From built-in sources such as the weather forecast, or from your own systems — your online store, till, CRM or spreadsheet. Once connected, the data shows up on screen on its own, in real time.

Can I have my own app?

Every PlugScreen app runs in isolation, so new ones can be added without affecting the rest. Custom apps and partner tooling are planned.

When do you launch and how much does it cost?

We're finishing the first version. People on the waitlist will be the first to hear about the launch and pricing — we're planning a free plan for your first screen.
